RMR Cadet Appreciation DayThe Royal Montreal Regiment, which 1 West is affiliated with, is proud to organize this activity in order to foster a sense of loyalty and belonging to the regiment. Cadets will be able to visit booths that showcase military culture such as infantry equipment, winter warfare and weapons handling drills, in addition to having hands-on experience with a firearm training simulator. The activity also includes a guided visit of the RMR museum and a dodgeball tournament. Please note that this is a very rare opportunity for cadets to learn more about the regiment and the functioning of the Canadian Armed Forces. Other squadrons, cadet corps and scouts will be participating in the activity. Due to limited spots and the strict nature of the event, only certain cadets are allowed to participate. Cadets are expected to conduct themselves maturely and professionally throughout the day, and MUST stay until the end. First come first served! All seniors are highly encouraged to sign up. Open to cadets 15 y/o and up. If you are not yet 15 but are sincerely interested in participating, send an email to CI Chan and exceptions could be made. Level 3s or sergeants and up are EXPECTED to sign up as it is an activity organized for senior cadets. Spots are still available!
