Once you have created your personal page (see Major Leslie’s as an example here), you can start raising money from your family and friends! Cadets who raise at least $50 will get a complimentary RMR baseball cap. Cadets who raise at least $100 will get a complimentary RMR baseball cap and a Squadron t-shirt. Cadets who raise at least $250 will get a complimentary RMR baseball cap, a Squadron t-shirt, and a Squadron hoodie.
The funds raised by our cadets and staff will support a variety of activities at the squadron as we resume in-person activities this fall. See the detailed description of the 1 West Montreal Running Team. Funds raised by individual cadets will be tracked and count toward the Flight Lieutenant Fred Solomon, BCL Memorial Fundraising Award that is presented at our Annual Ceremonial Review. Even if you are not able to run with our team in September, feel free to help support the project by raising funds for the team page on CanadaHelps.org For our runners: CI Amirola will be in touch with you soon to have you join our team on the Runkeeper mobile app so that we can keep track of our training stats and encourage each other virtually until we can start running as a group.
