1 West Training Night

Dear cadets, parents, and friends of 1 West,

This Wednesday, September 15th we will have in-person training and continue recruiting new cadets. Anyone entering the RMR must complete the COVID Self-assessment questionnaire prior to entering. After validating attendance and COVID screening, cadets must proceed to their designated training area:

Level 1s – Parade Square
Level 2s – Officer’s Mess
Level 3s – Classrooms
Level 4s – Sgt/WO Mess
Level 5s – COs Conference Room

Dress is FTUs or proper civilian attire.

COVID Self-Assessment Questionnaire

Important: Parents are not allowed to enter the RMR due to military COVID restrictions. Parents are encouraged to submit any questions that they have by email in advance and send ID document copies with their son/daughter. If parents need to speak with an officer, we will have someone available outside the main entrance.

New cadets can now submit their applications for membership online. When filling out the online application for, the Unit Name to enter is: 1 WEST MONTREAL, ROYAL CANADIAN AIR CADET SQUADRON

RMR Charity Run

The RMR Charity run will take place on Saturday, September 18th from 08:30 to 13:00.

Cadets who have registered for the run should meet at:
4020 St Ambroise (Chateau St Ambroise)

The location is in the back of the building. Access will be through the gate in between the buildings, a member of the RMR will be present to guide people through.

Cadets must wear sunscreen and bring water bottles. Other final details will be provided on Wednesday night.

Band Sign-Up

The Squadron welcomes musicians of all skill levels to join the virtual band on Mondays from 18:30 to 20:00. We are currently accepting anyone that has an instrument on hand.

There will be further information on in-person activities but for now, we welcome you to join us online. Contact OCdt Encarnacion at alfredoantony.encarnacion@cadets.gc.ca to sign up or for more information.

Supply

Our supply team is hard at work taking measurements and distributing new uniforms. If you have not already been measured please submit the corresponding forms to help speed up the process.

This form is for all cadets who have not received a green field training uniform.
