Poppy Campaign

The squadron is happy to announce that we will be supporting the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign from October 28th until November 11th. The Poppy Campaign helps support Veterans and their families within the community.

Cadets can sign up for three-hour time slots on October 30th and November 6th. Additional dates may be added in next week’s newsletter.

Participating cadets will meet at the NDG Legion in dress uniform. 5455 De Maisonneuve Boul O, Montreal QC H4A 1Z7

Arbraska Sports Day

The Squadron will be heading to Arbraska for a sports day on November 7th. Cadets must bring their own lunch. Spaces are limited so it will be first-come, first-served!

We will be departing the RMR at 07:30 and returning by 17:30.

Ground School

Any cadets who signed up for the online ground school and are still having issues connecting can now email the school directly at: training.support@mfctraining.com

Halloween Night

This Wednesday, October 27th we will have a Halloween Night. Cadets will be playing games and get to show off their costumes in a costume contest! As usual, cadets must immediately proceed to their designated area upon arrival:

• Level 1s – Parade Square

• Level 2s – Officer’s Mess

• Level 3s – Classrooms

• Level 4s – Sgt/WO Mess

• Level 5s – COs Conference Room

Dress is Halloween costumes or civilian clothing.

Anyone entering the RMR must complete the COVID Self-assessment questionnaire prior to entering.

Important: Parents are not allowed to enter the RMR due to military COVID restrictions. Parents are encouraged to submit any questions that they have by email to 1westmontreal@gmail.com
